Nepalese Canadian Society of Edmonton is an organization of Nepalese living in and around the city of Edmonton, Canada. Nepalese Canadian Society of Edmonton (NECASE) was established in 1999 and incorporated in Alberta in 23 May 2000 with an objective of promoting and developing Nepalese culture, arts, music, tradition and heritage. With the growing number of Nepalese members each year in Edmonton, NECASE is active in various activities that brings Nepalese people together and promotes the Nepalese culture, arts, music, tradition and heritage to the Edmonton Communities. |

Established in 1999 when the Nepali population in Edmonton was very small, the organization has now grown significantly, the members numbering over 400. Its activities cover a wide horizon, ranging from running language school for Nepali children to conducting fundraising activities, participating in various intercultural activities such as Heritage festival, organizing regular entertainment and reunion events, organizing and promoting sports activities, celebrating Nepali festivals, and providing information and reception services to Nepalese coming to Edmonton. |
